Greetings! My name's Chris Barraclough, I'm a 30 y.o. author and journalist from London. I began writing when I was old enough to clutch a crayon and plan to continue doing so until my fingers shrivel and fall off. My first book, Bat Boy, won the UK Authors award 2010 and was published in 2011 by UKA Press. Bat Boy is a light-hearted humorous suspense story following a blind boy, battling to find his estranged father after a family tragedy. My second book, Dead Dogs, is a darkly comic suspense tale that examines the archaic blood feud laws of Albania, through the eyes of a sarcastic 14 y.o. Polish boy. Dead Dogs was longlisted for the Dylan Thomas/Sony Reader award in 2010. I have also written two novellas, one of which, 'Crack', was shortlisted in the Contact Publishing Page Turner Prize 2011.
