Normal 0 Mark isn't so much motivated to write as compelled and this compulsion, or obsession, has seen him craft four novels to date as well as a good many short stories. The latter have appeared in a number of small press magazines over the years, as well as a couple of anthologies, but for all that he concedes that in his writing life at least, he is still looking for that 'big break'.Literature, like life, is very much a work in progress. Born and bred in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Mark currently lives in Stoke-on-Trent, making him something of a Tyke in exile.
