Mike Ognek,  a former Marine Captain, created Maneuver Management. During his time in the Corps, Mike served as a Platoon Commander, Executive Officer, and as an Operations Officer. His last assignment was at Quantico, VA where he served as an Operations Officer for the largest battalion in the Marine Corps, comprised of over 4500 Marines, Sailors, and civilians. After leaving the Corps, Mike has launched and operated successful businesses and also acts as a consultant, speaker, and leadership development trainer. Mike found that a great number of businesses, regardless of size or industry, have very similar problems.  Most of those problems revolve around leadership and the tools used by the leadership.  There are very specific qualities present in military officers that are valued by civilian businesses.  These are not just character traits, but also the leadership experiences and tools they bring with them from their military careers. Mike translates those qualities and tools into a workable methodlogy for business.
