So anyway, to continue... As time progressed, I would tell my customers of my past life. Amazement would be the order of the day as they listened intently to my stories. It was put to me that I should write these stories down, Social History in the making. Time moved on - folk all around me by now, pushing me to write a book about my life. My dear wife treated me to a PC... that was it! Before long I found myself scribbling into the night for month after month. The angle on my books is that they are written in 'the first person', I actually participated in all within the crisp pages. These books are an I did/we did view of life as it was. A rare insight of the truth. If you expect to read the 'pink fluffiness' of years since passed - you will be disapointed. Eventually, in front of me sat my book, nay, a mighty tome! Hardback, A4, 388 pages, 172 chapters, 110,000 words, 2,000 images, along with a 'life-tracing' CD. To avoid anguish and the 'brush-off' from publishers, I self-published the book. Well, would you believe! I began to receive emails and phone calls from my happy readers, asking if I would like to involve myself in a second volume as they, should I be interested - had stories and photos to fill it. I attacked the second volume along the same formatting lines which equals the first book in every way, very pleasing too. To the point, I have now finished my third book which is due out on Sunday 17th July 2011. I don`t have a website but an idea of my books can be seen on Google if you type in...
