Matt Cole was born in Oberlin, Ohio yet grew up in Central Florida. Most of his many heroes growing up as a boy rode horses and saved damsels in distress. They wore white hats and shot six guns. He hopes that now his son, Logan will share his boy hood dreams.

Matt Cole is the author of five novels and books, including three Westerns and a historical mystery. He currently teaches English at three colleges and universities. His influences are (in no particular order): Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Louis L'Amour, Matt Braun, and Carlos Ruiz Zafron.
