Recently there have been some strange experiences/influences colouring my life and my writing however this isn't where it all began, it is just where my latest collection of poetry 'Shadows on a Wednesday' was born from. I have been a keen writer for over 7 years exploring many universal themes, emotions and events which have affected everybody through the use of words, verse, rhyme and of course the tip of a pen. I'm 21 years old from Lincolnshire in the UK and I have recently completed a first degree BA (hons) Education Studies and English and I'm planning to undertake my MA in Hull starting in September. Aside from writing poetry which I love I also enjoy horse riding, I regularly compete in show jumping with my horse Jayde and the combination of the busy academic/sporting/working life style I lead and pure emotion help me to find inspiration to write!
