Sally serves as a corporate chaplain to the greater Kansas City area. She teaches creative writing to adults. She is an award-winning author. She writes historical fiction, true inspirational stories, and poetry. She has two trilogies: God's Little Miracle Book (I, II, & III) and The Late Sooner Series. (Book two is The Late Sooner's Daughter; book three is Hard Times in the Heartland.) Sally has two year-long devotional books: Daily Walk with Jesus, co-authored with Ardythe Kolb, and Looking Deeper. Kansas has been her home most of her life. She writes historical fiction in hopes we'll learn from it so we don't have to repeat it.  Sally writes inspirational stories and devotions to build faith in the true living God and His Son, Jesus Christ. She is the wife of one, mother of four, and grandmother of fourteen. Sally has received many awards for her writing, including "Best Book of Poetry" in 2001 at the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc.

In 2016, her historical fiction "Hard Times in the Heartland" won first place at OWFI.
