I grew up near Chicago, IL, then moved to the Gulf coast of Florida in my teen years. An only child, I had a pretty normal childhood, went to college, got a degree in a field that is pretty much impractical in the real world (music business), so I'm not working in accounting. I didn't realize I wanted to write until after college. I've always been an avid reader, and tend to gravitate towards the supernatural: vampires, witches, magic, time travel, etc. I started playing around with writing just for fun, then discovered I really enjoyed it. People told me I was good, so I decided to get serious about it. My debut novel, Destined, came from combining two of my passions: the Titanic and paranormal romance. I've been obsessed with the Titanic disaster since the mid-80s, and loved the idea of setting a time travel romance on board. I did years of research, wanting the non-paranormal aspects of the story to be as hisorically accurate as possible. It's been a labor of love for nearly 10 years, and I'm excited that it's finally releaesd.
