I have written since I was small but only after my children were born did I knuckle down and Write with a capital W. I have had som epoetry and a few shorts published and have a Fantasy/Poetry book coming out called The Legends of LIght. I've had more jobs than I care to think about which is good experience and parts of them and people I've met will crop up in my work. My last job was as a teaching assistant working with children with special needs and I used to write stories for them. Teenagers with reading difficulties or attention span problems need things they are interested in. If a book is boring they'll just not bother.
