Sadly only a few really read the headlines. To her this was a life changing event and her greatest hope is that she will still be able to touch peoples heart.

Hello my author name is Sunnie Day. I am a retired nurse turned author. Upon retiring I became a back yard farmer/author, purchasing six chicks. Before I knew it they had given me the inspiration for my first children's book called 'Sunnie and her Peeps'
Never did I dream this nurse, mother, and grandmother would be writing and publishing stories this late in life.
I consider myself a creative writer who finds so much joy in taking everyday situations, and creating a story from them. Some stories come from my own life, adding little twists and turns and others are born from my imagination that I thought I had lost as a child.
I stand amazed that this 52 year old grandmother, and retired nurse found her way to becoming a writer.
I have another book which is at the printers as I write this called 'When Delilah Smiles'.
I have several eBooks featured on Amazon, Smashwords, and Yahoo contributor.
Writing has become second nature to me and is something I enjoy doing everyday. It truly is a blessing to be a creative writer.
