I am an animal lover and I worked training race horses and while jogging around the track I would listen to music. I am currently working on a book about race horses called Spartan's Pride.

Andrea Bocelli's music inspires me in all I do, in my writing, my relationships and my joys and sorrows. Listening to his music allows me to write all the novels I could ever intend to write.
His music has helped me through hard times and through joyful adventures. Before him there was Beethoven. When I was 11, I discovered him and his music and it has been my inspiration and my salvation. Without music I could not exist.

Last year Maryanne Raphael and I won a certificate of excellence from the San Diego Book Awards Association for our book Alexandria.
When I was in school I won several prizes for my poetry.
