Hello my name is Gina Duncan. I live in a small town in Ohio with my only son and one of my grandson’s. Along with being an author I’m a disabled stay at home mother. I take care of my mentally challenged adult son. I’ve also been raising my grandson most of his life. We share our lives with one pet, she is a brown and white Boston terrier that is more like her child than a pet. The poor thing was born with a bad under bite but she’s beautiful to me. She’s also my companion to help with my depression and anxiety. I also have MS and some days I have a very hard time getting around.             I also have two daughters and another grandson. I also have four step grandchildren that I love like my own. I’ve been going through a hard time this year. Along with all my ailments this is also the first time since I was fifteen that I’m single. It’s been very hard on me. I’m dreading the holidays very much. But I’m going to make the best of it for me and the boys.             I enjoy having some alone time to give my mind a little time to concentrate so that I’m able to write. But I enjoy having family around.             I love to listen to music when I write. It doesn’t matter the genre. I love all music and some manuscripts just call for something different. When it’s too noisy at my home and I’m trying to write I simply put headphones on. I enjoy watching movies with my family, I love to read things other authors have written. I don’t have a favorite genre in books or movies either. I love to crochet and sew on quilts. I also enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance. I love visiting places that I’ve never seen before.   Besides living in Ohio I’ve have also lived in Louisiana and Kentucky for a short time. I was a STNA for a few years and a bartender for eight years. I’ve always dreamed of being a writer and through it all I never gave up on the dream of writing.
