Born and raised in Salt Lake City, the author's entire body of work with the exception of poetry, is set in his hometown. He was published by "The Library of Congresss" in audio form for the visually impaired at the age of 19. He is the author of the critically acclaimed novel "Fill My Eyes" and most recently "Heart of a Hobo", book two of "The Great Depression Trilogy". A devoted Steinbeck follower, his influences include William Faulkner and John O'Hara. He has been descriped as an author "with a Steinbeckian mentality and the writing style of a Southern Gothic along the lines of William Faulkner and Carson McCullers." The author is returning to "The Author's Den" after a long absence. He is fluent in 4  languages and has won two major book awards and currently a semi-finalist in a major worldwide poetry contest. His books have been major critical successes and can be found anywhere on the internet or in a favorite book and mortar store. Mr. Robertson is currently revising "The Backside of Yesterday", the first novel in his "Great Depression Trilogy".  He currently resides in North Carolina, but dreams of returning to his native Utah roots. The author is a motion picture devotee and fan of the late Susan Hayward and Jean Simmons. Other influences include music, Rosemary Clooney, Linda Ronstadt, Connie Francis and Connie Smith. He is a top reviewer on Amazon and Ebay. In his spare time, the author studies languages and devotes his time to his small family and his cat Suki Tsu Johnson .
