I heard the words ‘Acute lymphocytic leukemia’ for the first time when I was a 12 year old child. One day I was playing football with my friends and the next day I was bed ridden for long months. Its toll was heavy to bear but I was stronger and beat it. ALL decided to pay another visit when I was in college and I beat it again. But it never gave up. She decided to take over my body for the third time. I may not survive this time; but sure I will do everything I can to prevent it for doing this to someone else. By supporting cancer research and urging people to donate bone marrow so that it can be defeated. It taught me a lot, but I want to teach it something too, it might be strong but the resolve to find a cure for it is even stronger. God bless all those who fight it.
