Began writing in college, but put it aside for an entertainment career.
Graduated from Richmond Professional Institute of the College of William and Mary(now VCU) where I met best bud, Tom Robbins, who badgered me for 25 years to get back to writing. Was fortunate to live on Fripp Island in SC where I became friends with Pat Conroy, who has been a mentor and supporter.

First Novel, Nothin' Left to Lose was published in 1999. Lowcountry Boil in2003, Louisiana Burn in 2006.
First eBook and third in the Sam Larkin series in 2011. All backlist books are presently being published as ebooks, along with a new novel, A Season for Killing. Backlist book, Nothin' Letf to Lose due as an eBook in July.
