I’m a born-and-bred Texan that’s lived in the Lone Star State his whole life, although I have ventured beyond the state’s borders a time or two. I’ve bounced around in a variety of jobs, ranging from drawing blood as a phlebotomist, working as a legal assistant, repairing copiers, and watching over inmates as a correctional officer for a prison. Through it all, writing has been a passion of mine… although it was a secret passion. I was raised with a strict belief of having a ‘real’ job, and everybody knows that writing isn’t real work, right? Eventually, I decided to test that theory for myself and began writing for various online venues for income, and I learned that writing can indeed be a real job. More importantly, it can be a fun job. As I wrote for these assorted sites, the itch to drag my own writing out into the light of day became too unbearable to ignore, and here we are. With the support of my loving wife, and a mind filled with unreal realities, I sit at the keyboard and create worlds that don’t (and probably shouldn’t) exist.
