After reading and being influenced by all the books Wayne Dyer wrote, it was Elizabeth Gilbert’s book Eat, Pray, Love that instilled in me the emotional energy I needed to finally start writing. Two years later, I had completed my memoir, an accomplishment that I didn’t think I would ever bring to a satisfactory outcome. I hope my children and their children will accept this book as both a gift and the means by which to see what sparked my determination and fueled my curiosity to explore new horizons.
