I grew up losing myself in the wilds of fantasy worlds, and have had some of my own adventures while tromping through the UK, and a few other parts of the world. A lover of all things supernatural, I like to infuse that love into my stories, giving them a unique edge. When I'm not writing, I love cooking, scaring myself silly in the local cemeteries, and reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on. My biggest influence, at a young age, was Madeleine L'Engle. A Wrinkle in Time introduced me to sci fi/fantasy - I even wrote her a letter in sixth grade, which she graciously answered with a handwritten response. I also adore Elizabeth Peters, Dean Koontz, Nora Roberts, James Patterson, and the indie authors I have discovered and become friends with in my publishing journey. I do read in just about every genre, along with loads of nonfiction. I am a huge history buff, and that affects the direction of my stories as well. I write paranormal, fantasy and YA fantasy - each gives me a different kind of freedom, and the chance to tell a unique story. I would love for you to come along for the ride.
