I am half Romany and half Jewish. Most of my historicals take place during the holocaust.  When I was growing up I watched my parents suffer with the losses of many members of their families. However, none of my books are dark. In fact they are all filled with light and hope. I truly believe that many  German's did not want the Third Reich and it's horrific influence. Quite often they too were victims of Hitler's cruel power. You will find my books are filled with light and with love. Although they never discount the horrors of the period, they focus on the human aspect and the power within the human spirit.   I also write under two other names. That is because I write in two other genre's. One is Carli Lauren and that is a young adult.
