Karen has been writing novels for about 20 years and has lived in different part of the country.Her work is often described as character-driven, which reflects her interest in people.She likes to travel and explore new areas and learn about cultures different from her own.She and her late husband had lived in Jacksonville, FL, after residing in Saint Louis for nineteen years, where she worked at Washington University on the academic support staff. She now lives in Colorado close to her daughter and two grandsons. Karen has won some awards and strives to write good reads that readers remember.She's written seven novels and two cozy mystery novellas. Her hobbies include nature digital photography and knitting. She loves researching topics for making her books a more real experience for her fans. Sharing time with readers and other authors is always special, especially at conferences or conventions.
