Cassandra Jefferson was raised in Alexandria, Louisiana.  The motivation that began her journey to write books, came while she was in high school.  While other teenagers went out on the grounds for recess.  Cassandra went to the school library.  Her favorite read was the Hardy boys and Nancy Drew mystery books.  Later on in life after marriage she found herself in the foreign country of Spandahlem, Germany where she enjoyed the green grass and Bloomed trees.  She loved to sit in the big huge windows of the german houses to write all day.  That is where the results of her first book labeled; Love, Lust & Everything in Between came from. But, this was not the original name of this book.  The first title was: Marriage and Sexual Affairs.  She changed her title due to low sells and little or no support from the consumer.  Due to the title and the image on the front.  It was stated that it was too cartoonish and it was also stated that it looked like a self help guide to fixing your marriage.  A year after her first book was released on Xlibris, amazon, and barnes & nobles.com.  It made a new break through and was available on the e-book.  Cassandra is such a talentive writer that she wrote a second book called King Martin.  This book is currently at the publisher and a due date has not yet been released.  Her third book is a murder mystery which will be out of the rough draft stage in a few days.  Her fourth book is an adult african american activity book and it is also headed out of the rough draft stage.  She also have other books that will be finished by the end of the summer. Writing for Cassandra came from not be in a happy place in her life.  The motivation came from anger.  The anger was the encouragement to keep it sane in her life at the time.  Although, she is not in that stage anymore the words are still flowing.  Writing was a gift that was given to her all alone.  The anger at the time was the tunnel of knowledge that let it all out.
