I'm a 40-year veteran in the business world and authored a business book in 2005, but that project did not (obviously) fulfill my lifelong desire to write a novel.  And, as they say, the window of opportunity finally opened and I jumped through it. My book, "Powers Not Delegated" integrates my passion for and knowledge of history, interest in current events and the experience of those 40 years in business.  I wanted to meld historical facts, actual current events and fictional characters/plot lines into a plausible, relevant and entertaining tale for informed readers to enjoy and appreciate. My Summary Bio: A Georgia native, Rodney's business career includes a variety of senior management positions and consulting engagements in a broad range of functions and industries.  From startups to to Fortune 500 companies to five years in the mergers & acquisitions space, Rodney has broad and deep experience in the business world. A graduate of the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia, Rodney has always enjoyed writing.  In his business endeavors Rodney has written countless strategic and planning documents, and he wrote a bi-weekly column for a major newspaper.  In 2005 Rodney authored "Leading Your Business to the Next Level...the Six Core Disciplines of Sustained Profitable Growth." a hands-on guide for executives leading their companies through the perils and pitfalls of managing in a high growth environment. As an avid student of history and follower of the American political scene, Rodney decided to combine that background with his lifelong desire to write a novel.  "Powers Not Delegated" is his first foray into fiction, and as would be expected, the book meshes his knowledge of history, business, and current events to produce a relevant and plausible tale of domestic and international intrigue. Rodney lives in Asheville.  His passions include hiking, photography, history, reading and, of course, University of Georgia football.

Rodney's business and community involvements have included the Association for Corporate Growth, Chamber of Commerce board member, Rotarian and Vice Chairman of county political party.
