My books for kids are quirky, fast-paced, action-packed adventure stories based on key themes that affect children. They have particular appeal for reluctant boy readers. My adult novel explores themes of relationships and family. It explores past events while examining the theme of redemption, within a uniquely Australian setting. I have a background in media management with a Bachelor of Communication / Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing & Editing). I am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for academic achievement and was a finalist in the Monash Marketing Awards for Excellence. I also write non-fiction articles and work as an editor. I hope to write the type of fiction I like to read and some of the most influential writers for me (in no particular order) include: John Marsden, Paul Jennings, Morris Gleitzman, Douglas MacLeod, Jodi Picoult, Toni Morrison, Tim Winton, Anne Tyler, John Irving, J.K Rowling,  Elizabeth Jolley, Tamora Pierce and Emily Rodda.
