William is an English-born, Australian author who grew up watching a lot of American television, so his influences are varied.  He also lapses into the third person while speaking about himself .  William's literary infliences include: Thomas Harris, Jack Higgins, Chris Ryan, Jesse Petersen, Jonathan Kellerman, Matthew Reilly, George Orwell, Tom Clancy, Ben Elton and Sebastian Faulks. I get bored easily and morph between genres and styles as it suits me.  I like to think I strike a balance between high and low brow, but admittedly with more of an emphasis on the latter.  Primarily, I want to entertain while having something to say.  If I've achieved that by the time you reach the final page, my job is done.
