DustOn Dueitt was born in Mobile, AL and at a young age moved to the rural area just outside of the small town of Leakesville, MS. After he finished high school, he made his way back to Mobile to attend Spring Hill College, where he studied biology and theology. After his four years at SHC, Dueitt did some travelling. While he spent a few years bouncing around the country, and sometimes the world, he somehow always ended up right back in Mobile. Everytime he wound back in Southern Alabama, he found himself better able to write. It was at that point that he decided to stay put and finish his first novel.
