Raised in the great Southwest, I left home to feel the taste of freedom and independence.  My father was a preacher and gave me a good solid foundation to take with me, but I pushed that all aside and began to explore that world out there.  As I let the winds push me along, I experienced the bright lights of Las Vegas, the Aurora Borealis in Alaska and the mountains of Arizona. College was far from my mind as I took many jobs just to make a living.  It took four marriages to finally come in for a landing and take stock of my life.  When I finally retired, I uncovered some old journals and began to write the story that would force me to relive many painful times and also revel in the joy of memories past.
