Born in France. moved with parents to New Orleans, La. at the age of three. My father stole me from my mother at the age of five. We bounced around the back roads of Texas for five years. At ten the police caught up to my father and gave me back to my mother. She forced me to live in a house, I was used to the back of a pickup truck. A few weeks later she put me in a thing called school. This took some getting used to, none of the other kids in the second grade smoked cigarettes or drank beer. At seventeen there was a stint in the Marines. A couple of years later I wound up in Los Angeles, and attended Los Angeles City College, and studied creative writing and theater arts. But I wanted to get more involved with the movie business. I went to a seminar given by Gary Goldstein, the producer of PRETTY WOMAN, and the MOTHMAN PROPHECIES. We became friends and he taught me a lot about writing. One of my scripts called, THE FLIGHT OF A SKEETER, won honorable mention in the Bare Bones National Screenwriting Competition. Another script called, THE DEMON TWIN, was optioned by Dark Horse Pictures. This all led to a meeting with a producer from Starlight Pictures who produced my first script, PRETTY DANGEROUS. After that I then went on to write, produce, and direct three short films. But I was always interested in writing Science Fiction stories. It was after I saw the San Andreas Fault that pictures started stirring in my mind for the story of Dark Dawning. A few days later the price of gas started to rise above four dollars a gallon. People were screaming at the price of gasoline, and that’s when the idea for the story, DARK DAWNING came together…
