I started doing some creative writing at the age of twelve. Thoughts became sentences then paragraphs. Part of that material served a few years later for my first poems and lyrics for the band I joined as a singer and guitarist. The bulk of this literary production was done in English though I was raised in French. All the while, I immersed myself in books on the occult and soaked like a sponge esoteric knowledge, forbidden archeology and other matters of a spiritual nature. I was hooked and soon found out it was better not to share this passion with anyone else. I persevered while continuing my studies which landed me a B.A. in History. After I completed another year of university in Journalism, I ended up at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and started a career that lasted 27 years. In the meantime, I found time to complete a Master's Degree in Education. I also honed my literary skills by self-learning the screenwriting trade and penned five scripts, all in English and destined for the American market. These experiences prepared me to embrace why I liked doing best these days: writing books. This fall of 2012, I have self-published my first book. I have written it first in French and then in English. Quite the task, actually, but I'm happy I have done so. Under a spiritual banner, 'We only live once' and 'On ne vit qu'une fois' explore the fascinating world of consciousness and draw on ancient and current knowledge to demystify life, death and the cyclical return of the soul. My book states that life and consciousness are linked. It presents a series of meditations and exercises to help unleash the power of consciousness. The goal here is to undergo a fundamental change within and be in tune with the new era unfolding before our eyes of which the most obvious aspects are climate change and the technological revolution. I am currently writing the sequel to this book and also transforming one of my movie script into a novel. More on this when they are completed!
