Ohio native Tracy Neis brings her interests in classic literature and classic rock music together in "Mr. R" - a modern reimagining of Jane Eyre with a British Invasion twist. Tracy earned her degree in English from The University of Notre Dame, and worked as a journalist for many years before turning her hand to writing fiction. Tracy is also the author (under her full name Therese Neis) of the young adult non-fiction book, "Extraordinary African American Poets" (Enslow Publications - 2013). She is presently working on a series of sequels to "Mr. R" that bring the other Bronte sister novels into the modern era.
