Movement is the body’s greatest art form. It’s natural, instinctive and primal. Everything about running is real. You cannot fake it. It’s raw and it’s gritty and it’s beautiful and it’s pure.
Background
Information
I've been a competitive runner since 2011 when I ran my very first marathon, an achievement that at one point in my life, I never would have thought about doing. While running this marathon in the pouring rain, I passed a sign in the window of a store that said "If you ever question the human spirit, watch a marathon." I couldn't agree more. There is a certain amount of mental and physical power that comes with running any distance. Over the years of running countless miles and spending countless hours in the gym, I have acquired many stories and experiences that have inspired me to write and share what it's like to be a young female athlete.
