My favourite authors are Wilbur Smith, Jack Higgins, Michael Crighton, John Grisham, Michael Connolly. Favourite books are The Grapes Of Wrath, The Old Man And The Sea, Darkness At Noon,Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, Uhuru, The Honey Badger, Poor No More. I was inspired to write by my secondary school teacher Mr. Rod Lonsdale. I am 57 years old, and live in Kent with my wife and our two dogs. There are no children. I work full time as a Chartered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and I write at the dining room table between 5 and 7 am, before leaving for work. Research for writing my first book involved six years of full time university study, five years of post graduate research for a doctorate while holding down a full time job, and thirty years of clinical practice in New Zealand and England. If this novel is well received then a sequel is possible. The ideas and themes in it are only a small sample of the dozens of intriguing issues which form part of every working week carefully anonymysed of course.
