The Traveler's Saga series of fantasy novels explores some intriguing and controversial concepts about time and the universe. This captivating saga was born as the result of a dream journal that I started after having several vivid dreams, as well as experiencing some rather interesting guided meditations. After my son moved out, I had plenty of quiet time to sit down with my thoughts and develop some of my journal entries into a story. I never imagined that this story would expand into five novels and the sixth installment that I’m currently writing, as well as a companion book which has been in the works since the beginning:   The Shopkeeper and The Traveler The Ghost Ships of Loch Orrthannan The Windrider Prophecy The Arke'Núr Scrolls The Traveler's Anthology: A Guide to the Worlds of the Traveler's Saga Although The Traveler’s Saga marks my professional authoring debut, I have been writing short stories for many years. My mission is to inspire people, specifically women, to believe in themselves and to believe that everyone is empowered to live a fulfilling life. I hope to inspire others to improve a small piece of this big world for themselves as well as for others and future generations. As a result, my stories depict strong female characters as positive role models with whom young women can relate and respectfully emulate. I have called the Puget Sound area my home since 1996, despite having left for two years to live in Durango, Colorado. However, the beauty of the Pacific Northwest beckoned, and I returned home. Having a great respect for nature, I am profoundly concerned about the conservation of our planet, specifically the depletion of forested land, global warming, and the effects that hydraulic fracturing and excessive disposal of non-biodegradable material has on the environment. I urge everyone to reduce your own carbon footprint by spreading awareness about things we all can do to live more sustainable lives. “Traveler” would be my occupation of choice if it were possible; I love to travel and embrace the many gifts offered through cultural diversity. It is my dream to one day visit some of the countries that have helped to inspire the settings for The Traveler’s Saga as well as some of my own original jewelry designs. The intricate knotwork patterns of the ancient Celts, whose rich history and mythology is a source of fascination and inspiration for my written work, symbolizes the complex weaving of these stories that take place on another world.
