I am a graduate of Seton Hall University and Seton Hall Law School.  I practiced law for 25 years before retiring and moving to Kentucky. I always wanted to write.  In college I wrote short stories both for my classes and for friends.  I worked on the college newspaper and in politics in my hometown of Newark, NJ. As an attorney I was able to use my writing skills to help my clients get a just result in the courts.  When I developed cancer, I came back to writing as a way to combat the depression the disease and the chemotherapy brought on.  My eighth book will be in print this year. I have written three animal-based books, all about animals I have owned.  Three of my books are based on my memories and experiences in Newark and in a Mafia family.  One book is a psychic thriller and the other is based on the adjustment moving to rural Kentucky from the "big city". I love to write and can't seem to stop.  I am working on a sequel to my book, Mafia Honor, and hope to have it out in 2014.  At the same time I am working on a book to help people who are considering a divorce.  This book is based on the experiences I had as a divorce attorney.  In the works is also a book set in eastern Kentucky about a boy searching for his lost father. As I said I can't decide on one single genre of book to write.  I just love to write.

My books Tears and Tales: Stories of Animal and Human Rescue and The Horse with the Golden Mane have both won awards. Streetwise: Mafia Memoirs was a book of the month selection at Joseph Beth Booksellers in Lexington, Kentucky.
