Information
Richard Turner proudly served in the Canadian Army for more than thirty years. Starting as a private, he finished his career with a tour in Kabul as a Senior Officer. Throughout his career, he considered himself lucky to have lived all and work all across Canada. His numerous overseas deployments took him too many diverse locations throughout the world. These included: Germany, Cyprus, Croatia, Sierra Leone, Bosnia, Egypt, Israel and finally two tours of Afghanistan. Deciding that he wanted to try something new, he recently embarked upon a career as a writer of historical adventure novels. He is an avid reader and especially likes, you guessed it, reading all about history.
