My writing inspirations have developed from reading the wonderful tales of Aesop to the ancient legends from Greece as well as Celtic and Norse mythology. Modern day authors that I also admire include Tolkein, Eddings, Brooks and Gemmell. My works are written as a way to enter the worlds of magic, dragons and adventure and to inspire other people to do the same. These worlds are good for all of us. They are marvellous places to which the only limitations placed upon us are our own imaginations.  Heroes can be good, bad or shades or grey and so can villains.  I am also very much a believer in Karma and the royalties currently all go to charity.  At present, it is the animal welfare charity the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).  At some future date, donations may vary as I want to also contribute in the fight against Cancer as well as for the Alzheimer's Society as my grandmother died of the disease.  It is difficult to remove or reduce one good cause to help another, so I am guessing that I will instead write more books to solve this issue.
