Has worked in forestry , lead many trail hikes and wilderness camps for youth group, and spent some time in Alaska photographing wilderness.

Since retirement Lloyd's photos have won numerous ribbon and awards, have been published in calendars, and enjoyed many gallery sales of prints.

Published the coffee table book of wilderness photos entitled, "Inspirational Images." These images follow the Rocky Mountains from Arizona to Alaska, and attempt to cause one to reflect on life and preserve the beauty of creation which speaks to our inner self as nothing else.
