Born in Norwich, CT, my family moved to Michigan where I grew up. After college (Carnegie Mellon), I relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where I lived most of my adult life. A senior financial analyst at Stanford University School of Medicine, I was always writing. At work, it was 'long forms' and business plans; at home, short stories, poems and songs. In 2006, I moved to Chebeague Island, Maine and it was there that I wrote my first novel, MATEGUAS ISLAND which I hope to publish early spring 2014. I have published the prequel to the novel, a novelette entitled, SECRETS, and am busy at work on the sequel. Influences on my writing would include early Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Peter Straub (most notably SHADOWLAND), and Shirley Jackson. May favorite all time novel, however, is THE MAGUS by John Fowles.
