Through out my life I've been obsessed with the past.  When I was a teen I collected Broadway and Hollywood musicals, longed to dance with Gene Kelly and wished to feel the passion of the middle ages.  I was a voracious reader and often escaped the present by following characters into their lives and times.     As I began my writing career I wanted to lead others into a world different from their own, thus my focus became historical fiction.  I love the research that starts each book and the millions of drafts it takes to bring the end.
