Born in England, emigrated to Canada 2007.  Has been writing and getting sporadically published since 1978.  Loves Motorcycling, travel, deep sea fishing, good coffee and single malt whiskies. Major writing influences; Asimov, Arthur C Clarke, Robert A Heinlein, Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle, Terry Pratchett, P J O'Rourke, H P Lovecraft, and Edgar Allen Poe.

Aside from High School, Engineering college and a stack of in house certification; no University. No Degree. In a constant state of self improvement. Currently undergoing professional standard editing training with Simon Fraser University
