Information
James was given his first book as a birthday gift and has been reading voraciously ever since. He enjoys the space opera genre as well as hard science fiction and adventure novels. He became fascinated by the works of Lester Dent at a very young age adn has read pulp novels from the 30's and 40's for years. He has had several major literary influences throughout his life ad loves the classical American authors like Melville and Hemingway. Modern writers like Stephen King and Clive Barker have also helped him learn the craft of writing through their works and their use of imaginative techniques to grab the reader and hold their attention.
