Why write for children I have been ask many times?
Well the answer to this is so simple. I love it.
Fantasy full with magic and adventure can take you to places anywhere any time. fantasy creatures are only just past the door waiting to pop into the pages of a book.
Why would anyone want to stop a child from reading a book which can take them to new and exciting worlds and wonderful adventures. Why on earth would we as so called grown ups what to stop a child from using there imaginations. We need them to imagine all sorts of wonderful things if this world of ours is to grow. For imagination is where all new and exciting thngs are first thought of.
I am a children's author and there was a time when just writing my name was hard. But I have been to Univercity and written many books and still even today I keep a dictionary right by my computer.
So if you are passing by a book shop please just call in and look for that is a magical place where no matter how old or young you are there is always some special book waiting for you.
