About the Author
Dr. Derrick Beech is a renowned cancer surgeon currently serving as Professor of Surgery and Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at Morehouse School of Medicine. He has a keen interest in improving cancer outcomes, eliminating health disparities and providing compassionate care for patients with cancer both locally and globally. He is actively involved with international global outreach programs focused on the delivery of state-of-the-art health services to those in need. He has received numerous honors and awards including membership to Kappa Phi Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
