Caryn is an award-winning children's author. When not writing, she works full-time as business manager for Bucket Fillers, Inc., an educational organization in Brighton, Michigan. She brings vitality, professionalism and warmth to all her work. As an advocate of the bucketfilling message, Caryn finds her work rewarding and full of purpose Prior to joining Bucket Fillers, Inc., Caryn studied business management and computer information systems in college. She spent more than 20 years working in the areas of business management, human resources, accounting, database administration, computer information systems, and web design, in which she has received several awards for her work. It's her genuine love for children that prompted Caryn to begin writing. In addition to being a mother, she has worked with children for over 25 years in various capacities, including being a Girl Scout leader, camp counselor, Sunday School teacher, and nanny. Caryn is currently a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Michigan Reading Association (MRA), the Association of Independent Authors (AIA), and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). In addition to her love for travel and reading good books, Caryn enjoys spending quality time with her son and rest of her extended family.
