All my life I was troubled within myself, my true identity was hidden from me, and discovered when I was fifteen years old. I suffered such a profound life growing up in an emotional and physically abusive home. I was finally convinced that writing about my life would bring me some peace of mind...So I began to write in 2007 at the age of 67, it took six tormented years to write my book. It was emotonaly draining, and depressing. Culminating in my discovering something very crucial along the way ... and the reason for much of my tormented life as an adult.
My book 'Behind the 'Masks' spans 100 years and tells about my family and myself, beginning 31 years before I was born and endind seventy years after I was born...It is not for the prudish reader, contains foul language, murder, and extreme cruelty and abuse...Finally after completing the book I am at peace with myself and able to live the rest of my life as a happy individual....Robbie Daniels
