Boom! Pain! Blackness!
After an RPG attack on their barracks in Afghanistan, corpsmen, Amber Fox, Luke Owens , Wade Scott and Ross Miller wake up in an Army hospital in Germany.
Thus, begins a months long recovery for all of them. A
Repetition and mediocrity are my least favorite things.
Background
Information
I'm from a small town. I like a lot of things.
I'm not an avid book reader because I just don't agree that books have to be long and boring with minimal action taking place. Maybe I've watched too many good movies and played too many good video games to not think that pacing and excitement and eye candy are above all else in making a story that people love. If a book or words can create those same images, then what is the difference really? It's all memories. It's all recorded somewhere, and that's all they are: records.
In my writing, I believe in "show, don't tell" and that the shorter, the better. I love to let action just happen. No long build-up, no poetic "calm before the storm," and no softening the blow (like with a cut to black). It's frustrating when a movie kills a character off-screen, and it's happened more than a few times in popular films.
I know I'm not the best writer, but hopefully I'm an effective storyteller.
I would like to thank anyone who reads my work. I'm sorry for any typos.

Accomplishments
Got a few articles published in GamePro. Yep, my writing career started as a free video game walkthrough writer. Was pretty interesting and I'm not entirely retired from it either, but those articles were years ago.
