About the Author:  Fiona Finn, No Ordinary Housewife…   Fiona Finn considers herself just an ordinary housewife and mother who wanted to share her extraordinary story.  But Fiona’s portrayal of herself as ordinary couldn’t be further from the truth.  She is the author of the controversial tell-all memoir, Raw; One Woman’s Journey through Love, Loss, and Cancer (2014), an insider’s account of marital abandonment.  Since remission, she has become a leading advocate for women dealing with spousal abandonment after a diagnosis of a serious illness. As one of nearly 14 million cancer survivors, she understands and empathizes with all those, who feel hopeless and alone.  Fiona gives many motivational speeches to inspire and leave a lasting impact on the subject, life after cancer. Not only does she offer encouragement, from the perspective of a survivor, but she believes once you are given a second chance at life nothing should stop you from fulfilling your dreams.  That said, her dream for over two decades was to become an author who weaves humor into all of her books, no matter what the subject matter. Born in Ohio but raised in Ireland as a child, thus she considers herself an Irish-American Author.  Fiona is a Southwest Florida resident for the last twenty years who proudly graduated with an AA from Edison State College, and Bachelors from the University of South Florida.  Her major was in business but after graduation she pursued post-graduate studies in the area of elementary education.
