Information
I have been writing since the age of twelve, and been drawing from the moment I could hold a pencil. Over the years, I’ve developed three major headworlds and created many smaller ones alongside them. But only one of these has made it through to completion, and that one is The Calypsis Project – the first book in an exciting science fiction trilogy.
I first began developing The Calypsis Project in June of 2005 under the title “Dragons Fire.” Back then it was a video game design—a rather ambitious thing for a then twelve-year-old me to set sail for, but what the hey. At that point in time, the story was just dripping with fantasy; there were no real sci-fi elements in it at all. It was the same all through to 2007 as well, and then, in 2008, it started to lean into the tech-heavy space-ventures of the science fiction genre.
Then I took a few massive breaks from Dragons Fire to work on some other projects. A few years passed, and finally, in January 2011, I picked it up again. I gave it a new name, rewrote the story, revamped the characters, kicked the leading character to the sidelines and put his old sidekick in the spotlight, and set out to build an expansive universe of my own.
The story has definitely come a long way. I’m happy with the world I’ve developed, and I’m really looking forward to being able to share it with you!
