Originally from the UK, I have been living in New Zealand since I was a child. In 2011, my husband (also from the UK) sold his business and this turned out to be the push I needed to rethink what I really wanted to do with my life. For many years I had been writing short stories in my spare time with reasonable success so after Mike's business sold I decided to take the plunge. I left my long career in real estate and here I am now, going into my third year doing what I most enjoy - writing. 

30 years married - well, that's an achievement in itself these days, isn't it? It does help if hubby is amazing, as is mine - so with his amazingness and my good fortune in recognising it, I'm looking forward to the next 30 years.
Certifications: International Correspondence Schools - Short Story Writing Diploma (1987) and Stotts Correspondence School - Novel Writing Diploma (With Distinction - 1990).
Awards: Several competition wins and placings with Hibiscus Coast Writers' Group.
