I have been writing creatively ever since school, writing my first (and now long lost) book in my late teens. Although my career path has never followed anything remotely like a literary theme, I have been writing as a hobby continuously. My career has been rooted in computers and related technology, from programming fruit machines to my current position working as a web developer. So far that has all proved to be useful life experience for writing fiction. I've always been a keen reader, concentrating my time mostly on science fiction, thrillers and comedy. Particular favorites are Arthur C. Clarke, Terry Nation and Douglas Adams. For the past three and a half years I've been creating the Astronomicon science fiction series. So far this has resulted in three novels in the main series and a standalone spin-off.
