Information
Jacqui loved making up stories and plays from an early age. After teaching children for many years, Jacqui put pen to paper and began to wrtie novels (yes, I actually wrote them before typing them). Having led a colourful life, Jacqui found that many of her experiences gave a good basis for some lively stories. I have to say that most of the drama is fictional, I'm not that bad! The tales revolve around family life that is disrupted by unforseen events that turn lives around and out of the comfort zone.
Lately, Jacqui has also been writing stories for young children under the pseudonym Pippa Pennington. Teaching has given her a good indication of what makes children tick and her first set of stories about a dog named 'Sniffer', have even had reluctant readers excited.
Jacqui has been influenced by writers like Ken Follit and Dick KIng Smith.
Jacqui lives with her husband and an array of animals.
